This year, I am taking on a challenge unlike any other—trekking the Grand Canyon Rim to Rim to Rim in support of the Athena Project as a Goddess. This adventure is more than just miles and elevation gain (44 miles & 11,000 ft elevation gain); it’s a powerful journey of resilience, empowerment, and pushing beyond limits.

The Athena Project is dedicated to helping individuals rebuild and reclaim their lives after facing medical or traumatic setbacks. This mission is especially close to my heart. I grew up with a father who had a physical disability, and I witnessed firsthand how challenges like his made it impossible to take on adventures like this. Because of that, I have never taken my own ability to move, train, and compete for granted.

As a 2X Ironman finisher, I know the sense of accomplishment and empowerment that comes from pushing past barriers—physically and mentally. I want more women to experience that feeling, regardless of the obstacles they’ve faced. That’s why I’m fundraising to ensure that women who have endured medical or traumatic setbacks can access the resources, support, and community they need to rise, rebuild, and thrive.

This trek will test my endurance in new ways, but every step will be fueled by purpose and passion. I invite you to be part of this journey with me.
