Grand Canyon 2025: Supporting Epic Comebacks

This time last year, my friend Amy was deep in the midst of breast and kidney cancer treatment: several surgeries (which led to a collapsed lung), chemo, and radiation. Today, she’s getting ready to hike 40+ miles in the Grand Canyon.

Why? Because exercising great physical and mental fortitude helps survivors move past “survivorship” and into a world where anything is possible. As a grant recipient myself in 2017, I experienced the transformational growth that adventuring results in.

Since then, it's been my goal to fund grants for other survivors. Grants provide the gear, training, coaching, travel, and inspiration necessary to transform a “survivor” into an endurance athlete!

This year, I have the special privilege of training alongside Amy. This is her comeback story and I'm honored to be raising funds to support her, and other survivors, as they achieve new athletic goals, reclaim their health, and experience the comeback adventure of a lifetime!

I’m forever grateful for your donation, and am also here to answer questions about how you might benefit from a Project Athena adventure for yourself or a loved one! I promise it’s life-changing!
