It’s time to stop surviving and enjoy the Journey.  Donating to Project Athena helps people such as myself.  I have had to learn throughout my life that hard times will come and how we react to them makes a huge difference.  Hearing the words you have cancer is life changing.  While going through chemo I knew that once I was better I wanted to help others going through this.  After  4 months of chemo, 4 surgeries, 30 rounds of radiation I was ready to  get my life back.  Thanks to people who have donated to Project Athena I was able to do just that.  As a grant participant I was an Athena and  was able to accomplish something I only dreamed of. Because of donors I was able to go to the Keys and bike/kayak from Key Largo to Key West.  This year I want to raise the money so someone like me can challenge themselves and live life to the fullest. They will also meet life long friends who will support them even after the event is over. Your generous donation will go to an individual who is ready to get their life back.
