81K ‘Birdy Steps’ in March! 🧡🐥

81,000 people will be diagnosed with kidney cancer this year. In 2019, Randy was diagnosed and has been fighting back with unrelenting strength & determination against this disease ever since. He is amazing! On this roller coaster of an illness, we went on a search for information, help, and hope...and thankfully came across the Kidney Cancer Association. The Kidney Cancer Association (KCA)'s mission is to be a global community dedicated to serving and empowering patients and caregivers, and leading change through advocacy, research, and education.

That is why we are joining the 81K Challenge in March to raise awareness of kidney cancer and the KCA! Randy & I have set a goal to walk a combined 81,000 steps dedicated to birding in March! We call them ‘Birdy Steps’!!

Why are we choosing 'Birdy Steps' for the 81k Challenge? Birding is a gift that brings joy to our lives, and steps are a reminder to keep moving forward. We could think of no better way to advocate for the KCA than to pledge our 'Birdy Steps'!
