Once again I have been given the opportunity tackle another 120-ish miles of Kayaking & Cycling in the 2026 Florida Keys with my PAF family.

Project Athena is an incredible nonprofit that helps survivors of medical or traumatic setbacks live out an adventurous dream as part of their recovery. Each Athena and Zeus (survivors) is gifted a fully funded, multi-day expedition through the financial support of Gods and Goddess (fundraisers like me!).

I’ve committed to raising $4,000 to support this journey. Your donation will help cover the cost of the adventure for survivors and allow Project Athena to continue making these powerful experiences possible.

During the 2025 event my father Arthur Bumpus passed as we were completing the last Kayak leg on the last day of the event. I knew I was in the right place to be surrounded by the love as we completed that final paddle now known as the "Arthur Paddle".

In 2026, I will be leaving behind a small token that reminds me of my dad at the end of the last point we pass into Key West so I can wave as I paddle pass each year and feel his love and support continue to push me across the finish line.
