This April, I’m charging back to Rockwood Park Golf Club (aka The Rock) for First Tee of Fort Worth’s Golfathon, ready to tackle 100+ holes in a single day—from the crack of dawn ‘til I can’t see the ball anymore. I’ve been training like Rocky Balboa himself, minus the raw eggs, freezing meat lockers, and punches from giant Soviets, to prep for this insane test of stamina and sheer stubbornness.
This isn’t just a golf game—it’s a full-on brawl between me and the course, all to raise dough for First Tee’s mission to teach kids golf and life lessons that stick. Picture me out there, swinging like a madman, fueled by grit and questionable snack choices. You can back my sweaty, club-wielding saga by donating per hole or tossing in a lump sum. Thanks again to everyone who donated and followed along! This is always one of my favorite days on the course and for a great cause.
I ended up with 140 holes total! Through 7 rounds (126 holes), I birdied 16 of the 18 holes at least once, so I went back and played holes 14 and 15 several more times until I birdied those as well.
