Our Mission
The 5Kaden is more than your standard 5K race—it’s a pass-it-forward movement. Fully funded by a private donor, this event ensures that 100% of every dollar raised through registrations, donations, and sponsorships goes directly to the Jordan Thomas Foundation (JTF). At 15 years old, Jordan Thomas lost his legs in a boating accident, and for the last 20 years, he has dedicated his life to lifting up others living with limb loss—providing not only prosthetic support, but hope, encouragement, and community.
Jordan poured into Kaden who also lost his leg at 15 years old, and now, 5 years later Kaden has passed on that same support he received from JTF to bless other kids walking a similar road. That impact didn’t stop there—Kaden gave some "borrowed hope" to Carson when he was in the hospital, and Carson then befriended Matt. The 5K-aden exists to keep that chain going, ensuring that every child with limb loss feels seen, supported, and surrounded by a community that believes in them while providing them with the prosthetic limbs needed to live healthy and active lives! Come out and join us on May 2nd to walk, run, or just hang out to get some "borrowed hope".
