The Future of the BCS Science Program
Bethany is seeking a science program that is hands-on, replacing passive spectators with active investigators. Students need to explore science from a curiosity driven approach, fostering higher level discussions and resulting in deeper understanding of scientific principles. This will encourage leadership skills and teamwork as they conduct experiments and work together to find solutions utilizing standard engineering practices.
A fully developed science department at Bethany Christian School will help to achieve these objectives and motivate our students to further explore God’s creation by better understanding it from a scientific standpoint. To attain this, we need a space dedicated to scientific exploration, and an expanded curriculum to support scientific learning.
