IT IS FINALLY TIME FOR THE BIGGEST FREAKIN BOURBON FUNDRAISER FOR VETERANS!
What is the Waffle? The Biggest Freaking Bourbon Waffle takes the generosity of the bourbon community and raises money for a charity close to our hearts. The raffle takes bottles donated from the PA Bourbon Squad community and awards them from entries earned by donations to the cause. This is our 5th year running this raffle and it has been increasingly successful, with last year donating over $63,000 to charity.
Why waffles? Some social platforms use technology that doesn't know the difference between what we are doing and what those up to no good are doing...
We will sell tickets starting NOW until April 19th. On April 19th we will use a digital wheel and randomizer to select the names of the winners live on the PA Bourbon Squad Facebook Group.
This raffle runs in tandem with an awesome in-person event you won’t want to miss. The Double Barrel Heroes, A Shoot, Smoke and Sip Event showcases PA distilleries and artisans with optional shooting range time beforehand with an impressive library of firearms supplied by our host: Main Line Armory in Malvern. In addition to a stellar lineup of Distilleries, we will have a very special raffle that is exclusive to that event, so make sure to get tickets while they last.
Once we have ALL the winners selected and their draft order, we will coordinate a group chat where we will have a lottery draft. We go pick by pick in order of those selected in the live, and once a bottle is selected it is guaranteed to that person. Because we have an OVERWHELMING 200+ bottles and 2 lots of beer, there will be a time limit on selections. We are hoping everyone will pick up QUICKLY so we can get the bottle into the winner’s hands as soon as possible. Once we have the winners’ chat, those details will all be reviewed before selections begin.
All that’s left is to buy tickets and support a great cause. Let’s get to $100k and change some lives along the way!
Frequently Asked Questions
Where does the money go?
All the funds will be donated to Team Foster to help Veterans in need be matched with service dogs, and to help create more advocacy and awareness of the challenges they face.
Do I have to be present to win?
No, you do not have to be present to win your name being drawn BUT you will need to choose your bottle in the chat promptly once the draft begins. You will be allowed to choose a proxy if you absolutely cannot make it, but you must let us know in advance and the proxy must be one of the raffle coordinators.
Do I need to be on Facebook?
Yes, if you win, we need to be able to add you to the winners group chat. You MUST be on Facebook to select your bottle!
How do I get my bottle?
We will coordinate with the same people who helped collect bottles (Jon, Jody, Sheri & Chris) for this raffle, or come up with a game plan if that’s not feasible. This is our 5th year running and we’ve never failed to get a bottle to our winners.
What can I win?

We will be adding some even more exciting bottles as sales hit different donation benchmarks from 5k increments all the way to our goal of 100K! As we get close to each tier, teasers will be shown in the group, so be sure to join.
Can I win more than one bottle?
YES! Buying multiple tickets not only increases your odds of picking earlier to get whatever you want but can also allow you to win multiple times. Once selected, only the winning entry is removed. So, if you were to buy 15 tickets and one is selected, you’d still have 14 chances to win.
