Take part in the 3rd annual walk across the Thousand Island Bridge to support the work of the Compassionate Care Foundation (CCF). This event is an opportunity to bring our community together to raise awareness and funds for complementary, integrative care for local cancer patients.

The Compassionate Care Foundation's mission is to provide cancer patients in northern New York with access to complementary, integrative therapies comparable to those offered at leading cancer centers.  These evidence-informed interventions are proven to ease stress and fatigue, enhance mental health outcomes, help patients maintain the strength to continue treatment, and improve overall quality of life throughout their journey.  Supportive therapies include, acupuncture, massage therapy, support groups, patient advocacy, reiki, nutritional counseling, meditation and more.

Since June 2022, CCF has sponsored over 5,000 integrative sessions for cancer patients in our region. Access to these complementary therapies has changed lives and, with your support, we hope to extend our impact. In addition to sponsoring integrative therapies, the Compassionate Care Foundation provides educational resources and community through partnerships with local NNY cancer centers and nonprofits.

A day of inspiration and celebration, the walk across the TI Bridge brings together the cancer community all while raising funds to support the mission of the Compassionate Care Foundation. Help us Bridge the Gap and walk to honor someone going through cancer, in remembrance of a loved one, or simply to show your support.
