4 Rounds. 1 Day. Every Step for the Next Generation.
Last year, my foursome made history as the first all-female team to complete the Chambers Bay Solstice—an extreme golf endurance challenge that covers 4 full rounds of golf in a single day. It was one of the hardest things we’ve ever done, and one of the most meaningful.
This year, we’re back—and we’re not alone. A larger group of women will be teeing it up, many inspired by what they saw from our team last year. That ripple effect reminds me why this matters.
Because this isn’t just about golf. It’s about breaking barriers, walking with purpose, and expanding access for the next generation.
We’re raising funds for First Tee – Greater Seattle, an organization that creates game changers—young people who grow up to make the world a better place. First Tee uses the game to teach confidence, leadership, and life skills—especially to kids who might not otherwise have access.
I’m walking every step so more girls can see themselves in this game—and far beyond it.
Support the cause. Grow the game. Create game changers.

We Showed Up. We Played Hard. We Represented.
Yesterday, our Pro Shop Birdie Brigade teed off at 4:50 AM and holed out at 9:14 PM—78 holes of golf in one day for First Tee – Greater Seattle. Our team—Tessa, Shawn, Marjorie, and me—brought grit, joy, and just enough country music to keep us going.
🏌️♀️ Shawn lit up the scorecard with 16 birdies, plus two more from Tessa and Marjorie. I rallied the crew, hit my longest drive ever at 185 yards, and found my rhythm in the final six holes. I didn’t carry my bag like I planned—but I did walk and play all 78 holes. That’s a win I’ll take.
But what made this day truly special? The support.
Friends showed up.
Cheered us on.
Brought fruit.
Shared laughs.
And even let us love on our emotional support MVP—George the dog.
That kind of presence meant everything.
Last year, The Pro Shop made history as the first all-female team to complete the Solstice. This year? Seven women finished all 72+ holes—the most ever. And we were proud to hear from women like Hannah, Shelby, and Kathy, who said they joined this year because they saw us out there last year. That’s what representation does. It invites more women and girls to take their place.
To every single donor: thank you. Our team raised the second-highest amount of any group. Your support powers First Tee – Greater Seattle—the organization helping kids build character, confidence, and access through golf, including initiatives like Beyond the Bus.
We showed up—for the next generation watching. And we’ll keep showing up.
There’s still time to donate and we appreciate everyone’s donations large or small they all make a meaningful impact to help us grow the game changers!
Until next Solstice.
