It’s Time to Heal
Mental Health is the most ignored social justice health issue that often goes untreated. Untreated mental health injuries and trauma can result in life-altering effects including lack of hope, increased anxiety and depression, and lower levels of achievement.
Everyone has experienced some level of distressing physical, emotional, or mental pain in their life; those events are defined as trauma. When trauma goes untreated, it can stunt us from developing, learning, and achieving a healthy, happy life that every single person deserves. Unfortunately, the current mental health system prevents some of the most vulnerable communities from accessing the resources they need and deserve.
The Cheatcode Foundation will change that. Through partnering with underserved communities that are empowered to break the cycle, Cheatcode will heal & transform lives impacted by trauma at the root of the issue.
The Cheatcode Foundation is raising funds to launch pilot programs in communities that are plagued by systemic racism and have spoken out about the need for trauma-informed services. By healing trauma, hope can be restored, and people can be empowered and liberated to live out their full potential and purpose. The Cheatcode Foundation programs can results in:
Decreased anxiety and depression
Increased hopefulness and positive attitudes about the future
Increased levels of achievement such as academic performance and ability to maintain steady job
Increased ability to maintain healthy, stable relationships
Decreased levels of externalizing behaviors
Our pilot programs will include vital research to produce case studies that will allow the foundation to expand our work, fundraising, and social impact.
