Join the American Kidney Fund (AKF) and the Friends of David Atkins and Matt Glazier for a night out supporting AKF’s Living Donor Assistance Program. Enjoy hors d’oeuvres, dessert, and drinks in one of downtown Chicago’s premier venues, take part in our raffle, and learn more about how AKF provides financial assistance to living kidney donors.

The American Kidney Fund's Living Donor Assistance Program aims to increase access to living kidney donation by reimbursing living kidney donors in the United States for out-of-pocket costs they incurred as part of the donation process. This vital program grants up to $2,500 to living kidney donors to cover expenses not covered by insurance, such as travel, childcare, and lost wages due to taking time off work. Since its launch in 2023, over $120,000 in grants have been distributed to more than 65 living donors. Following the successful launch of the program in Massachusetts, the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, and New York City, A Night Out launches the program’s expansion to Chicago.
