Join us in celebrating individuals with Down syndrome and their families!
The Down Syndrome Association of Los Angeles (DSALA) invites you to join us for our annual T21 Walk & Festival to support all individuals with Down syndrome and their families. This event unites the community each year to advocate for the value, acceptance, and inclusion of people with Down syndrome. We expect about 1,000 participants to participate in this celebration of unity and awareness. DSALA envisions a world in which all people with Down syndrome have the opportunity to become valued members of welcoming communities.
Honor your loved one with a Shout Out! 📣
Do you want your loved one to hear their name over the loud speaker on our big day? Leave a custom donation of $21 and include "Shout Out to [Their Name Here]" in your donation comment with a message you'd like read over the loud speaker. Simply choose "Custom donation amount" when you leave your gift.
Our staff will gather all the Shout Outs and share them during the event. Watch your loved one's face light up when they hear your message! 💙💛
We need your support!
The Down Syndrome Association of Los Angeles (DSALA) receives no funding from the state or federal government and is 100% donor-funded. The programs and events of the DSALA are free or low-cost to children and adults with Down syndrome and their siblings. Each year, the DSALA must raise almost $250,000 to provide these vital services. The T21 Walk is one of our largest fundraising events and is responsible for raising 30% of the funds needed to operate each year. These funds support our local efforts and cover the cost of the event.
Thank you to all of our sponsors!
No Pets Allowed
Due to horses being on-site, no pets are allowed.
The laws in California allow a person with a disability to bring a trained service dog or psychiatric service dog to all public places, but not emotional support animals. The dogs must be trained and must present a certification.
