Child abuse and neglect affects everyone. We cannot change what has happened, but with your support we can change what will - by speaking up, and standing up, together.
For decades, child abuse and neglect has been perceived as social and legal problems, but research and professionals tell us it is a health, mental health and public health problem that can be treated. COVID-19 has clearly added to the problem as many children have lost their connections and relationships to those who can help, report, and support them. And sadly, in our world, children’s voices often go unheard until it is too late.
EndCAN’s mission is to end child abuse and neglect in our lifetime. And the aim of our Walk Together Columbus is to build a community of healing, hope, and possibility.

Nominate a Hero
A hero is someone on the frontline, or a first responder, or someone who believes, protects, and defends. If you know someone in the community that is demonstrating hero-like qualities, please nominate them.
One nominee will be presented the "Trudy Award" and one student will be presented the "Junior Trudy Award". All nominees will be celebrated. We cannot truly change the statistics without our heroes.
Please email nominations to: email@example.com Nominations should include the individual's name and a paragraph as to why you are nominating them for this award.
