Strides of Honor: First Responders 9/11 Challenge

While words of thanks will never be enough, we can reflect on the sacrifice by all first responders during our 1,980 miles walked, run or biked. We encourage you to get a strong team going so we can achieve this goal together by September 30th, 2022!
On September 11th, 2001 more than 800 children of first responders lost a parent. This year, over 900 first responders have been lost in the line of duty, many of them leaving children behind. We are asking each team to collectively accomplish the challenge by the end of September in honor of the steps taken by first responders to climb the Twin Towers on that tragic day.
For 21 years, First Responders Children’s Foundation has supported, promoted and facilitated educational activities and programs created and operated by first responder organizations whose purpose is to benefit children or the community at large.
