The Foster 100 is a 100-mile cycling event from Veterans Island in Pennsauken, NJ, to the shores of Cape May. The route includes about 1,700 feet of climbing elevation, four fully stocked rest stops along the way (with puppy love!), and a boutique, fully supported format. The Foster Metric offers all of the same amenities along, starting at Rest Stop #2 in Bridgeton, NJ. All funds raised benefit Team Foster, raising money to provide accredited, life-saving service dogs for injured and disabled Veterans.

At the Foster 100, all riders participate as a part of platoons (teams/groups), every rider receives a commemorative jersey for ride day, and the ride is fully supported - including SAG vehicles for every platoon, designated platoon leaders, and admission to the all-inclusive after party.

For 2024, we are adding three new options: the Foster 100 Metric (Foster Metric), Recruit Your Platoon, and Return Transportation.

Platoons are lead by a platoon leader and supported by a SAG vehicle. Riders provide their preferred pace and will ride with similar-paced participants. Platoons always stay together, leaving no rider behind. Riders will ride together, stop at rest stops, and for all mechanicals. If a rider is unable to complete the ride at the designated pace, he/she will utilize the SAG vehicle.

Foster 100 Metric (Foster Metric). For the first time, a metric-century option at the Foster 100. This 64-mile ride starts in Bridgeton, NJ at (Upper Deerfield Municipal Bldg.), where you will link up with the Foster 100 platoons and finish together in beautiful Cape May, NJ. As with the Foster 100, all riders ride with platoons (teams), Parking is available.

Recruit Your Platoon. Riders may ride with TF-lead ride platoons or create your own platoons (team). This is your opportunity to choose your own platoon-mates and pace. Some guidelines to create your own platoon: 1) All platoons must have at least 10 registrants (this may include Foster 100 and Foster Metric participants); 2) Platoons must assign one rider as the platoon leader and this platoon leader *must* attend the platoon leader meeting (August 24); 3) Platoons must provide a SAG vehicle driven by a non-rider. All platoons, including Recruit Your Platoons, must stay together at all times.

Return Transportation. Return transportation for riders and their bikes is available. This must be purchased as an "add-on" item. Return transportation will be available to the start point for the Foster 100 (Veterans Island) and the Foster Metric (Bridgeton, NJ).**

***Disclaimer: Return transportation is through an outside vendor. Team Foster is not responsible for any damage to bikes or individuals on the return transportation.
