Grand Marshal
🎉 Exciting News! 🎉
We are thrilled to announce that David DeSanctis will be serving as the Grand Marshal for this year’s Friends Buddy Walk!
David is an actor and advocate best known for his role in Where Hope Grows, a heartfelt film from writer/director Chris Dowling. His passion for acting began in high school, where he co-anchored a news program and hosted a monthly cooking segment. Since then, David has continued to follow his dreams, working professionally as an actor and serving as a passionate advocate through his work with the National Down Syndrome Society (NDSS).
To kick off this meaningful weekend, we will be holding a family dinner the night before the walk at The Gallery in Johnson City, TN. This will be a special opportunity to meet David, connect with our community, and celebrate inclusion together.
We can’t wait to see you there!
