Empowering Generation Z & Alpha youth. Strengthening Communities. Transforming the Future of Sports and the Nation.

The Green Sports Alliance Foundation just launched something extraordinary at Gillette Stadium, home of the New England Patriots — a Sports & Sustainability Career Day “Huddle” that turned the stadium into a hands-on classroom for over 80 local students from 11 schools.

Students explored careers across sports, sustainability, STEM, STEAM, and skilled trades. They met Team Gillette professionals, a pro athlete, touched real technologies, and discovered career pathways that many never knew existed.

Why This Matters

Across the United States, more than 2 million STEM, STEAM, and trades-related jobs will open by 2030 — and sports is one of the most powerful platforms to inspire our Generation Z to pursue these careers.

Our communities and businesses need skilled workers.

Young people need hope, inspiration, and jobs.

Playing for the Next Generation Campaign is our solution.

With our partners — the New England Patriots, Kraft Family Foundation, Project Green Schools, industry leaders, educators, a pro athlete, and state officials — we delivered a day that:

- Connected students to high-demand careers in energy, construction, sustainability, technology, AI, social media, engineering, water management, waste management, recycling, circularity, and facility operations – what it takes to run Gillette Stadium

- Showed Generation Z how sustainability is reshaping every corner of the sports world, and our communities

- Introduced skilled trades as cool, modern, tech-driven jobs — essential to keeping America running – both within a sports venue, and in the communities we live, work, and play.

- Built confidence, sparked passion, and opened doors for students from all backgrounds

- Demonstrated a model we can replicate nationwide

This single day changed lives — and we’re ready to bring this program to your community, school system, major league sports teams, and venues across the country.

Why We Need Your Support

To scale this impact, we need funding for:

- Student scholarships, interns, mentorship, and building workforce development partners

- 10 Huddles across the nation in 2026

- Curriculum development for STEM/STEAM/trades pathways

- Expansion to the NFL, NBA, NHL, MLS, collegiate, and K12 venues

Your donation helps us take this powerful experience nationwide — inspiring thousands of students and helping build a pipeline to fill the 2 million jobs that will become available by 2030 in America.

Thank you for being such an important part of this purpose-driven campaign in support of our Generation Z and Alpha youth.

Career Day Outcomes

Our goal is to launch Workforce Development Sports & Sustainability Huddles in 2026, and reach 1 million Generation-Z by 2030.

Here's how your donation or sponsorship directly makes a difference:

Host a Huddle: Have us come to your venue and deliver an impactful event for your organization.

Get a Booth: Bring materials to promote your organization directly to the next generation and develop a pipeline of new apprentices and interns.

Speak on a Panel: Get exposure to the next generation of athletes, employees, fans, and students to grow your outreach.

Sponsor a Student: cover the cost of transportation for one under-resourced youth to experience one of our Workforce Development Huddles.

Donate to Support a Student

Support 5 Generation Z Students

Your $100 donation ensures that 10 Generation Z students participate in the Huddle. This ensures that all students, regardless of their economic background, can participate, learn, and take their Green Sports Pledge back to their schools to become leaders in their communities.
