Pelotonia Kids- Gears & Cheers

Gears & Cheers is an event just for kids, inspiring the next generation of riders to pedal with a purpose. This special event is designed for young cyclists of all skill levels—whether they’re in a stroller, just learning to ride or already speeding through the neighborhood! Kids will have the opportunity to participate in a safe, age-appropriate ride while fundraising for cancer research, just like the adult riders. 100% of every dollar raised will go directly to Pelotonia Kids and fund pediatric cancer research.

Gears & Cheers is hosted by Gears & Beers, a local peloton of friends who ride in Pelotonia each year to raise money for cancer research. We've ridden for the last 10 years in honor of those we've lost to cancer and in recognition of the ongoing impact it continues to have on all of our lives. We realized that many of us know kiddos who love riding their bikes, and so we thought why not get them involved in the community and fundraising with their own Pelotonia experience? We are so excited to expand our efforts with Gears & Cheers this year! Don’t miss out on the chance to have fun, get active, and make a difference.

Pelotonia Kids is a series of youth cycling events to engage the next generation of Pelotonia participants. In collaboration with the OSUCCC—James, 100 percent of every Pelotonia Kids participant-raised dollar will be directed to innovative pediatric cancer research at Nationwide Children’s Hospital.
