Hike to provide scholarships for individuals and families to participate in outdoor programs

Through strategic partnerships with like-minded organizations, 2B-RAD helps individuals and families participate in outdoor, community based programs like guided hikes, backpacking trips, educational retreats and more. While creating accessibility to the outdoors, we also protect the natural landscapes that inherently support us.

About the Event

Hike 2B-RAD 2024

Join us from October 1 - 31, 2024 and hike to be rad! This event has a dual purpose: to help you experience nature alongside community and to raise money to provide scholarships for individuals and families to participate in outdoor programs. It's a win win!

The timing and the spirit of this year’s event is in honor of Brad Humphrey, a committed husband, father, son, brother and friend who loved his community as much as he loved the great outdoors. He believed in the healing power of human connection and being active in nature—and so do we. Get to know Brad better—read his story here.

HERE'S HOW IT WORKS:

  • Register beginning September 15.
  • Sign-up as an individual or as a team.
  • Between October 1 - October 31, get hiking!
  • Join us for hikes in-person around San Diego County or hike your favorite trails wherever you’re located.
  • Every Saturday during the month of October we’ll be hiking trails across San Diego County. Join our free hikes to log extra miles and win gifts/giveaways from our sponsors!
  • Log your miles daily or weekly directly through our site
  • Win prizes (because who doesn't love prizes!?)
  • Celebrate your achievements and experience the benefits of time in nature with community!
