Elle Weathersby

Hi! I’m Elle Weathersby, a soccer player at St. George’s Independent School and a 2026–2027 Impact Player.

Why Literacy?

I became an Impact Player because I want to encourage other student-athletes to use their sports platforms to advocate for important causes like literacy. This program allows me to develop valuable leadership skills while becoming more involved in my community.

Student-athletes of all ages and sports can make a difference. Reading has opened many doors for me and helped me become the student-athlete I am today. Literacy creates opportunities and gives young people the tools they need to accomplish their goals.

As an Impact Player, I hope to strengthen my leadership skills and learn how to fundraise effectively for a cause I truly care about.

How You Can Help

One hundred percent of donations will support Leadership Preparatory Charter School and MTR Summer Literacy Camp.

Leadership Prep provides K–8 students with a strong academic and character foundation that prepares them for success in high school, college, and their communities.

MTR Summer Literacy Camp is a free program that provides students with individualized reading instruction in a fun and encouraging environment.

Your donation will help provide Memphis students with books, tutoring, educational resources, and meaningful learning experiences.

Join me in making an impact on literacy in Memphis by donating today!
