Welcome!

My name is Isaiah.

My story:

On January 12, 2022, at 10 years old, while at school playing basketball, I suffered a life-threatening cardiac arrest. I'm alive today to share my story because in those critical minutes, my school staff RECOGNIZED my cardiac arrest, RESPONDED immediately with CPR, and used an AED to shock my heart.

During my path to recovery, I was diagnosed with hypertrophic cardiomypathy, the #1 cause of death in youth athletes, had heart surgery and now live with an implanted s-icd device.

I share my testimony because I am living proof that CPR and AED use can increase the chance of survival in cardiac emergencies when every second counts.

I have dedicated my life to making my community heart safe by bringing awareness to heart health, cardiac arrest, teaching cpr, and making sure AEDs are available and accessible in my local community.

My mission:

The last 3 years I have been a keynote speaker at sporting events, schools, churches, and many more. I'm an active scout and am preparing on my journey to become an Eagle scout. My project will be dedicated to youth heart health.

I have advocated with other heart champions to help shape and encourage laws and legislation that effect our youth heart health.

My mission has been to educate, advocate and to reduce fatalities from cardiac arrest emergencies.

My plan is to make AED'S publicly accessible in our local community to become heart safe.

Together, we can change the outcome of cardiac emergencies.
