My Why
I’m honored to be running the 2027 TCS London Marathon with Project Purple, in honor of my Aunt Kisha, joining a community united in the fight against pancreatic cancer. This cause means a great deal to me, and I’m proud to play a role in raising awareness and supporting critical research for those affected.
When my Aunt Kisha was diagnosed with stage IV pancreatic cancer, it felt like a really bad dream, something that couldn’t possibly be true. There was so much uncertainty, especially with how aggressively the cancer had spread. It was a bitter reminder that time isn’t guaranteed and none of us would have known coming into 2024 just how limited our time with her would be. On January 8th, 2025, my aunt lost her battle. We were so lucky to get that last year with her, as many people don’t get that much time with late-stage diagnosis, but selfishly it wasn’t long enough.
Your support truly makes a difference. Every donation helps fund early detection research and provides vital resources to those who need it most. Together, we can bring hope, drive progress, and move closer to a world without pancreatic cancer.
