NYC Marathon for Team MSHEF

I never thought I could run more than a mile, so training for my third marathon, the 2025 TCS New York City Marathon, is a dream come true. I’m running with the Mark Schonwetter Holocaust Education Foundation (MSHEF) to honor my family’s history and help ensure that the stories of Holocaust survivors are never forgotten.

In 2022, I traveled to Poland and visited several Holocaust camps and memorial sites. It was a life-changing experience that deepened my understanding of the generations that came before me and the weight of our collective responsibility to carry their stories forward. The stories I have heard and read are full of pain, resilience, and strength. Each story is a fragile piece of history and it is critical that we protect and pass them on through education.

Throughout my time in college, I’ve witnessed first hand the dangers of Holocaust denial and rising antisemitism. These experiences have strengthened my commitment to Holocaust education and combating hate in all its forms. I’m proud to support a foundation whose mission is to provide grants for educators to teach anti-hate initiatives, respect, and kindness to students nationwide through Holocaust education.

Your donation can help fund lesson plans, survivor talks, classroom materials, and more. Together, we can make sure the next generation remembers and learns from this history so we can ensure that this never happens again.

Every step I take, every mile I train, is in honor of those whose voices have been lost but whose stories must live on. Please join me in this mission to ensure that Never Again is right now. Thank you for your support.
