Because no disease is too rare

The Million Dollar Bike Ride brings over 600 cyclists and volunteers to Penn’s campus to ride either 10, 32, or 70 miles starting in the city, and ranging across the Greater Philadelphia region. In 10 years, the MDBR’s 30+ teams have raised over $20 million to fund research grants on the diseases they represent. The ODC ensures that 100% of the funds received goes towards pilot grants.

How It Works

🚲 Why should I participate?

For each team that raises a minimum of $20k, the Orphan Disease Center will match it, dollar for dollar, up to $30k, to be used towards research grants.
