About Pelotonia Kids
Pelotonia Kids is a series of youth cycling events to engage the next generation of Pelotonia participants. In collaboration with the OSUCCC — James, 100% of participant-raised funds are directed to innovative pediatric cancer research at Nationwide Children’s Hospital.
For the past 17 years, Pelotonia has been a growing force in Ohio for cancer research. Three years ago, the organization launched Pelotonia Kids- rides focused on getting the littlest riders involved in the fight against pediatric cancer. Nationwide Children’s Hospital is honored to be the benefactor of Pelotonia Kids’ efforts with all funding going to our research labs and fellows.
The momentum and partnership with Pelotonia Kids is rapidly growing.
2024 ⟶ 6 rides with $85,076 raised
2025 ⟶ 11 rides with $167,000 raised
Now in 2026, our goal is to have 25 rides across the Columbus area and raise over $300,000.
This year, Nationwide Children’s Hospital will host our inaugural Pelotonia Kids ride and YOU can be a part of this event!
How It Works
Step 1
Register your child to participate! Each child should be registered in advance. Participants receive a Pelotonia Kids medal, t-shirt, and other fun giveaways after crossing the finish line.
Step 2
Customize your child's fundraising page by adding a custom message, photos, or video and sharing it widely with friends, family, and supporters to help us raise critical funds for innovative pediatric cancer research. Fundraising is optional but highly encouraged.
Step 3
Show up on event day for an incredible experience! In addition to the ride, there will be other games and fun activities for participants and families to enjoy.
