Hope Hustlers

In November of 2023, we lost our Uncle Peter to pancreatic cancer. Less than two years later, we lost our Uncle Bert to the same awful disease. Feeling helpless and powerless, we searched for a way to honor them and to help others facing this devastating diagnosis.

That led us to Project Purple and the chance to run the NYC United Airlines Half Marathon. Being chosen for this team feels like a meaningful way to carry Uncle Peter and Uncle Bert’s memories with us while supporting a cause close to our hearts. We’re running in honor of our uncles, and for every family facing this devastating disease.
