Team UA: New Trier Lift For Life 2026

Our 2nd annual Lift for Life fundraiser is right around the corner, and New Trier Football and Basketball is proud to dedicate our performance in support of Uplifting Athletes, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that harnesses the power of sport to build community and invest in the lives of those impacted by rare diseases.

Lift for Life is Uplifting Athletes’ signature event, traditionally led by college student-athletes across the country. Now, as part of Team UA, we’re bringing that same energy and purpose to the high school level because the challenges faced by the rare disease community are bigger than any one individual, team, or school can carry alone.

This initiative aligns directly with what New Trier stands for. Our mission calls us to commit minds to inquiry, hearts to compassion, and lives to the service of humanity. Lift for Life gives our athletes the opportunity to live that out in real time, leading with purpose, showing compassion, and standing alongside a community that often fights in silence. New Trier’s values of intellectual engagement, personal growth, equity, leadership, and community partnership guide how we show up and make an impact.

Last year, our teams raised over $11,000, and we’re building on that momentum with an even bigger goal this season.

Fans can get involved by making a flat donation or pledging based on our team’s performance during the event. Every contribution fuels research, supports families, and sends a clear message that no one in the rare disease community stands alone.
