Last year, SpokesKIDS Jr. joined with Pelotonia to help form Pelotonia Kids. Pelotonia Kids is a series of youth cycling events to engage the next generation of Pelotonia participants. In collaboration with the OSUCCC—James, 100 percent of every Pelotonia Kids participant-raised dollar will be directed to innovative pediatric cancer research at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. SpokesKIDS Jr. is proud to be a part of this effort.
A Message from Nathaniel Hopping
I created this ride when I was five years old because I felt that kids should be able to contribute to finding a cure for cancer - just like adults. I also wanted to do this ride because certain people in my family have had cancer, and I would like to put a stop to that. I made this ride so that kids could participate in Pelotonia.
Just like in past years, riders have an option: Kids can ride with us in person on Saturday, July 26th at 10:00 AM in Granville, OH, or if you cannot make it out to the ride, you can register as a virtual rider. The goals for SpokesKIDS Jr this year are to raise $2,000, have 40 kids participate, and to help push kids to do their best.
Any kid who registers by July 1st will receive this year's SpokesKIDS Jr. T-shirt. Kids register right here by donating at least $20. (A note from my dad - Please be sure to include your child's name in the donor recognition line.)
