Pelotonia Kids is a series of youth cycling events to engage the next generation of Pelotonia participants. About Pelotonia Kids Upper Arlington
Pelotonia Kids Upper Arlington was founded in 2022 by some Pelotonia loving parents with extra support and enthusiasm from the Pelotonia leadership team. In 2024 and Pelotonia Kids became an official program of Pelotonia, now a series of youth cycling events hosted by community volunteers. In collaboration with the OSUCCC—James, 100 percent of every Pelotonia Kids participant-raised dollar will be directed to innovative pediatric cancer research at Nationwide Children’s Hospital.
Pelotonia believes in the importance of including families and kids in the mission, and directing funds raised by kid's rides to research for kids from kids is important and is an exciting enhancement!
How To Sign Up
Click Join at the top of the page.
You'll be prompted to enter an email address. This will allow you to manage your child's fundraising page. Enter an email address to use and click next.
If you've never used Pledge It before, you'll be asked to input a first and last name for your account. You will be registering on behalf of your child, so we recommend using your child's name.
On the ticket selection screen, choose your registration option. A form will appear for you to fill out. Be sure the dropdown menu at the top displays "This ticket is for me," as you will be registering as your child.
Choose your preference for creating a fundraising page and setting a fundraising goal, then complete any remaining questions.
Complete your order. Check your email for your receipt. If you created a fundraising page, you will be walked through the steps to customize it and share it with supporters!
If you need to register additional children, we recommend logging out of your first child's account and repeating these steps.
Our Ride
Pelotonia Kids Upper Arlington is a bike ride for kids 12 and under - with big kids on bikes, toddlers on scooters and babies in strollers.
The Upper Arlington ride is in its fourth year and is held annually at the Jones Middle School track where little kids ride on the track, and older kids ride around the block surrounding the field.
This ride has no participation fee, but donations in any amount are encouraged. We hope you can challenge your own child to raise funds in support of their ride.
Bring your trike, bike or just walk as a family in support of a cancer-free world!
Event Details
Ride starts at 9AM with registration beginning at 8:30. Children over 5 years old ride around the block on closed streets (with police supervision), while younger children on trikes and scooters ride around the track. Around the block route: Begins on Coventry, turns left on Waltham, turns left on Barrington, turns left on Andover, turns left on Guilford, returns to Coventry.
Volunteer
Pelotonia Kids Upper Arlington is organized and run by volunteers with generous support from the Pelotonia team. We are always in need of extra hands on the day of the ride. Please let us know if you're able to help set up, provide extra hands during the ride, or tear down after. We would love to have you!
