Hunter the Punter for ALS

Earlier this year, New York Jets punter, Thomas Morstead, created the campaign Punt for ALS to raise awareness for ALS and Team Gleason. University of Northern Colorado punter (and kicker), Hunter Green, has been inspired by his mentor Morstead to extend Punt for ALS to college football. Hunter’s father, Phil, was diagnosed with ALS in 2018 and is a board member of Team Gleason.

As a redshirt freshman last year at Northern Colorado, Hunter led the Big Sky with 2968 yards on 68 punts with a long of 70 yards. The FCS Freshman All-American dropped 21 punts inside the 20-yard line and 19 punts were 50 yards or more.

This season, Hunter pledges to donate $20 for every punt that is downed inside the 20-yard line. All donations will benefit Gleason to help people living with ALS have a higher quality of life. Please join Hunter with and make a pledge or donate to his College Football Punt For ALS.
