Join me to support kids with cancer
Support Team Cohen!
This last year, my nephew Cohen was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer at only 4 months old. During the year he went through chemo, our family rallied around to make sure the little guy and his parents were never alone through treatment. But the reality is that no family is prepared for the isolation, fear, and financial strain that comes with a pediatric cancer diagnosis. That's where Candlelighters comes in.
Candlelighters is a local organization that connects families who have kids with cancer to fun, safe and supportive events and community. They also provide financial assistance to make sure families have meals, lodging, and money to travel back and forth to treatment.
I believe in the work they do and that is why this year I am riding Cycle Oregon, a 5-day bike ride, in support of kids and families facing cancer. I have committed to biking 1,000 miles and raising $2,500 for Candlelighters. Please consider supporting my Ride for A Child fundraiser with a donation to my page!

About Candlelighters
From diagnosis through treatment and beyond, Candlelighters provide programs that meet the needs of the whole family facing childhood cancer. Your support provides:
$25: Helps fill our hospital food pantries, providing access to quick, nutritious meals for families while at their child's bedside during long hospital stays.
$100: Pays one essential household bill for families with a child in treatment struggling to meet their basic needs.
$250: Fills the hospital pantry for one week at OHSU Doernbecher and Randall Children's Hospitals, providing access to quick, nutritious meals for families while at their child's bedside during long hospital stays.
