Join me to support kids with cancer!
Hello! Thank you for learning about Ride for a Child. From now until the end of August, I’m riding to raise funds and awareness for local kids with cancer and their families. As many of you know, this topic hits close to home for me and my family. My son Cohen was diagnosed with cancer when he was 4 months old, and over the following year, he received 17 cycles of chemo, a major surgery to remove the tumor on his leg, and countless other challenges that his cancer brought. Our family was incredibly lucky because we had endless support, but no matter what there's a feeling of isolation that comes with these diagnoses. Candlelighters was an incredible resource that provided support, fun and safe events, and a sense of community that we really needed. They also do so much more, between financial support, meals in the hospital, and other critical services - they are crucial to helping families get through this exceedingly difficult time.
So please consider donating! I know that it matters because I've seen it firsthand, and every dollar pledged will go toward the mission of Candlelighters For Children With Cancer. You can support me by pledging per mile, and following my progress on the Ride for a Child 2025 Leaderboard.
