St Paul Rodeo for All

The St. Paul Rodeo Association cares about all our fans and we want everyone in the special needs community to experience the Nation’s Greatest 4th of July Rodeo!

Guests will enter the Rodeo Grandstand through gate D-E, which is on the south side of the Rodeo Arena. We will be undercover and in the shade.

Volunteers will greet you when you arrive and check you in. We will help find a seat, sing the National Anthem and enjoy watching Slack. We can’t fit all the professional rodeo athletes into the Rodeo performances, so they also compete during the daytime, this is called Slack. You will see the timed rodeo events of Steer Wrestling, Tie-down Roping, Team Roping, and Barrel Racing.

Please know there are no crowds, but you will see cowboys, cowgirls, rodeo clowns, horses, and calves competing in Rodeo events.

Noise levels will be kept low, and we will have hearing protection available.

Food: Thanks to generous sponsors you may register for a free Hot Dog Lunch. In addition, St. Paul Booster Club will have a concession stand open with other items (soda, candy, popcorn, etc.) available for purchase. You may also bring your own food and drinks to enjoy.

Souvenirs: We will have a St. Paul Rodeo souvenir booth open outside of the arena if you would like to purchase any souvenirs.

Walk outside to the SE side of the Arena, where you can see the bulls in the pens. Don’t get too close though!
