Willamette Oaks Retirement Community

We are a group of enthusiastic seniors living at Willamette Oaks Retirement Community. Our team of Willamette Oaks Walkers (W.O.W.) has been participating in 5Ks within the Eugene area for the past three years!

For the fourth year in a row, we will be walking in the Eugene 5K on Saturday, April 25th! This year, we are supporting The Ronald McDonald House's mission of providing access to medical care, a home away from home, and a community of support for seriously ill or injured children and their families.

With each mile we walk, we want to demonstrate two guiding principles:

1. You're never too old to chase your goals

2. You're never too old to make a difference in the lives of others

Please support us by donating to our page! Here's how your donation can help families with seriously ill or injured children:

• $250 helps provide a night of compassionate hospitality for a family facing a medical crisis

• $150 helps support one week of fun family activities in Ronald McDonald House's four Oregon Houses

• $75 helps to restock Ronald McDonald House's Toy Closet, making sure each kiddo gets to pick out something special

• $50 helps fund Ronald McDonald House's Meals from the Heart program, ensuring healthy and delicious food is always available

• $25 helps with family’s transportation needs, making sure they can be by their child’s side
