The SANDS Walk for Down Syndrome is the signature fundraising and awareness event for the Southern Arizona Network for Down Syndrome (SANDS). This community-wide celebration brings together families, friends, and supporters for a fun-filled day featuring a resource fair, food trucks, entertainment, and activities for all ages. While the walk itself is less than one mile, it is the largest event of its kind in Southern Arizona, and people of all abilities are encouraged to participate—no special training required.

This inspirational and educational event celebrates the many abilities and accomplishments of people with Down syndrome. It is designed to foster community involvement and have long-lasting, positive impacts on the Southern Arizona community.
