Join SMYMCA's 3rd Annual GOLF-A-THON! August 1, 2024 - September 16, 2024.
Imagine a child's eyes lighting up as they explore the wonders of nature, discovering new strengths and learning valuable life lessons along the way. You have the power to make this vision a reality by supporting our initiative to provide local children with outdoor recreational and educational experiences by being part of the 27th Annual South Mountain YMCA Camps Golf A Thon.
At South Mountain YMCA Camps we believe that every child deserves the chance to experience the transformative power of outdoor education. That's why we're committed to making our programs accessible to children from all backgrounds, regardless of their financial circumstances. Our golf classic raises $30,000 annually with proceeds benefiting the “Reach Out for Youth” Annual Giving Campaign. Your support can help us reach even more children in need. By contributing to this initiative, you're not just providing financial support—you're opening doors of opportunity for children who may otherwise miss out on these life-changing experiences.
Prizes will be awarded to our lead fundraisers and most active players!
GETTING STARTED!
STEP 1: Sign-Up! Once you've joined, set-up and personalize your new fundraising page!
STEP 2: Ask! People won't give, if you don't ask. Whether it is a one time donation or they make a dollar amount per hole, let them know about SMYMCA and how they can support your fundraiser.
STEP 3: Follow up! Always follow up! Many people will need to be asked more than once to donate and most will appreciate the reminder! Pledge-it makes it easy to thank your supporters and share your progress!
STEP 4: Keep going! Reached your goal? Keep going! Every dollar you raise from here on out will make a big impact for SMYMCA, and our lead fundraisers will be recognized at our in-person Golf Classic!
STEP 5: Have fun! The whole idea behind our Golf-a-thon is to give you the opportunity to support camp, while enjoying an activity you love! Make sure you share pictures and log your progress along the way!
MINI-GOLF-A-THON for ages 16 and under
Our younger generation of golfers can also be part of the fun! If they are not ready for a full course have them log their mini-golf holes! Not only is this a great opportunity for outdoor fun, it also gives our past/current/future campers a chance to support their camp!
