Keeping Special Olympics Georgia Athletes Active
Special Olympics Georgia’s mission is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy, and participate in the sharing of gifts, skills, and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes, and the community.Please join us in encouraging and athlete to stay active during the summer in between State and Local Games by pledging to donate for each mile walked or run this Summer. Your donations will help to fund the State Games and fund athletes training to compete locally, as well as to encourage the athlete to stay active this summer.
Prizes for highest total distance will be gift cards of $250 and $150 and a pair of Okabashi Shoes
Prizes for top fundraising teams will win gift cards for $100, $200, or $300.
The top walker for the month of August will also receive a $50 Amazon gift card!
