Passing the Torch: Walk Leadership Transition
We are excited to announce that Brittany Meza will be stepping into the role of Walk Chair for the Step Up for Down Syndrome Walk! We are thrilled to welcome Brittany into this leadership role as we continue growing and celebrating this incredible community together.
At the same time, we want to extend our deepest gratitude to Melody Lehrman for her many years of dedication, passion, and hard work as Walk Chair. Melody has helped shape the Walk into the amazing experience it is today — creating a meaningful, welcoming, and memorable event for thousands of families, supporters, sponsors, and friends over the years.
Because of Melody’s leadership and commitment, the Walk has grown into so much more than an event; it has become a cherished celebration of community, advocacy, and support for individuals with Down syndrome.
