What is the Step Up for Down Syndrome Walk?
In addition to being an acceptance & awareness event, the Step Up for Down Syndrome (SUDS) walk is the largest CELEBRATION of our friends with Down syndrome in Colorado! It is also the largest fundraiser for the Rocky Mountain Down Syndrome Association per year - and is the key event that sustains the mission of our organization from year to year.
We ask all team captains to reach out to friends, families, coworkers, neighbors, etc. and encourage them to make a donation to your SUDS team!
If you are a Team Captain, establish your Team Page. You will then be provided with a unique link to send to your circles of influence, so that they can donate directly to YOUR TEAM'S page! A variety of team prizes will be awarded for both the top fundraisers and the largest teams.
Donations will stay local to benefit the family and education programs, resources, community groups, community events, and advocacy initiatives that RMDSA has offered for more than 40 years.
