2nd Annual Pueblo Step Up for Down Syndrome Walk

Hosted by Rocky Mountain Down Syndrome Association

$6,980Raised of $18,000

What is the Step Up for Down Syndrome Walk?

The Step Up for Down Syndrome Walk is a community fundraising and awareness event hosted by the Rocky Mountain Down Syndrome Association. Founded in 1981, RMDSA provides lifelong support, resources, and programming for more than 1,500 individuals with Down syndrome and their families across Colorado.

Building on the success of last year’s inaugural Pueblo Walk, we are excited to bring Step Up back to Pueblo for year two. The Step Up Walk has a long and meaningful history across Colorado. In 2026, RMDSA will celebrate the 30th annual Step Up Walk in Denver and the 8th Step Up Walk on the Western Slope.

Step Up Walks are RMDSA’s largest fundraising events and our greatest opportunity to raise critical funds in the communities where the walks are held. Funds raised stay local and support programs and services throughout the year for individuals with Down syndrome and their families in Pueblo and surrounding areas. The Pueblo Walk includes breakfast, live music, kid friendly activities, a walk along the Riverwalk, and a Resource Fair featuring local organizations and Self Advocate Entrepreneurs.
