Join us on Saturday, October 17, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Edinburg Municipal Park for the RGV Down Syndrome Association's biggest event of the year!
Step Up for Down Syndrome is the largest Down syndrome awareness event in the Rio Grande Valley and our most important fundraiser, bringing together families, friends, businesses, and community supporters for a day of celebration, connection, and purpose. This year, we're inviting our community to come together under the theme:
Every Step Creates New Possibilities.
Every step taken, every dollar raised, every team formed, and every sponsor who joins us helps create new possibilities for individuals with Down syndrome. Together, we're creating opportunities for education, employment, independence, friendships, recreation, advocacy, and a more inclusive community where every individual is valued and empowered to thrive.

Step Up for Down Syndrome is RGVDSA's largest annual fundraiser. Your registration helps support year-round programs, family services, educational opportunities, recreational activities, advocacy efforts, and community events for individuals with Down syndrome throughout the Rio Grande Valley.
