Every Step Counts! And we couldn't do any of it without our volunteers!
We are excited to announce that we will be hosting our 18th Annual Walk for a Cure on Saturday, October 7, 2023. There are lots of volunteer opportunities available to support the walkers and to be a part of finding a cure. New this year - Volunteers can fundraise if they choose (there is no fundraising commitment and this is completely optional)! 100% of all donations raised by volunteers will go directly to breast cancer research.
How To Get Started
Step 1: Register to Volunteer. (Descriptions of positions available on the Volunteer Tab under TBBCF Walk at tbbcf.org)
Step 2: Invite family and friends to join you (to Volunteer or Walk).
Step 3: Optional: Collect donations from friends, family, co-workers, and anyone else you know to help us reach our goal.
Step 3: Participate as a Volunteer in the In-Person Walk.
Step 4: Don't forget to post updates on your personal and/or team fundraising pages and social media to show everyone how you're helping!
About Our Organization
The Terri Brodeur Breast Cancer Foundation is a Southeastern Connecticut based charitable organization that was established in 2006 by two friends, Norma Logan (1958-2006) and Sandy Maniscalco. The two friends realized the need for a new kind of fundraising organization (not enough money was going to breast cancer research). TBBCF was established to honor Terri Brodeur, a young mother of three, who succumbed to the disease in 2005 after a two-year battle with breast cancer.
