Walk with the Stars is the perfect opportunity to encourage friends, loved ones and co-workers to make a life-impacting change for all those affected by sickle cell disease and sickle cell trait. United with every walker and runner, together we can raise the necessary funds which will get us that much closer to finding a universal cure!

Why We Move
Imagine pain that feels like glass in your veins. Imagine pain that sends you to the emergency room. Imagine explaining the pain to the ER doctors - and they don't believe you. Imagine you have to fight for relief. Imagine this happens every few months - and while there are treatments to manage it, you will likely face this battle for your whole life.
If you are one of the 100,000 individuals in the United States who suffer from sickle cell disease, you don't have to imagine any of this. For far too many, it is the reality. We believe in a world where sickle cell never holds anyone back. Will you join us?
