About the Young Investigator Draft
Uplifting Athletes is committed to cultivating resources that accelerate scientific advancements for rare disease treatments and potential cures because less than 10% of known rare diseases have an FDA-approved treatment. Out of necessity, the Young Investigator Draft was created to support the next generation of rare disease researchers.
In its first five years, the Young Investigator Draft has provided more than $1,020,000 in funding to 54 rare disease researchers. To view past award recipients check out UpliftingAthletes.org/YID.
