30th Annual Charlie Bowen Memorial Golf Classic

The Charles Bowen Golf Tournament honors the legacy of Charles Bowen, a lifelong educator and champion for children in our community. After coming to Dalton in the 1940s, he served as Principal of Fort Hill School, Principal of Dalton High School for 22 years, and Superintendent of Dalton Public Schools for six years.

Beyond education, Mr. Bowen dedicated more than 40 years to the Big Brothers Big Sisters board, helping shape brighter futures for countless young people. His unwavering belief in the potential of every child and his passion for our mission continue to inspire us. We are proud to honor his legacy through this tournament and the lasting impact it makes on the lives of local children. The event is held at Nob North Golf Course, located in Dalton Georgia.  The tournament has a shotgun start and is a four person select shot with hole-in-one contest, as well as 1st-3rd place prizes in both divisions.  Lunch is provided to participants. Sign up today!
