Running Berlin for My Dad | Fighting Pancreatic Cancer with Project Purple

I run for my dad — and for every family who knows the shock, fear, and heartbreak that comes with a pancreatic cancer diagnosis. Watching him battle this disease changed me forever. It’s a pain I wouldn’t wish on anyone, and it’s why I keep showing up to run, fundraise, and speak his name through every mile.

Pancreatic cancer is one of the deadliest forms of cancer, yet it remains severely underfunded and often diagnosed too late. That reality is unacceptable. Project Purple is changing that by advancing research, supporting patients and families, and demanding more awareness for a disease that has been overlooked for far too long.

Running the Berlin Marathon isn’t just about another finish line. It’s about continuing the fight against pancreatic cancer and honoring my dad in the most meaningful way I know how — by turning grief into action and miles into impact.

If you’re able to support my Berlin Marathon fundraiser, please know that your donation goes far beyond race day. You’re funding critical research, supporting families in the hardest moments of their lives, and helping create real hope for the future.

My goal is to raise $7,500 for Project Purple before race day, and every donation — no matter the size — helps move this mission forward.

Thank you for helping me carry this mission forward. I’m so grateful to have you alongside me every step of the way. 💜
