The Birdies for Kids Fundraiser encourages junior golfers to help raise funds for children’s charities in their local community by doing what they do best – playing golf!

The Birdies for Kids Story...
In 2004, a group of DFW-based Australians who worked in the golf industry founded the Birdies For Kids fundraiser. They started the fundraiser because they felt fortunate to have the opportunity to work and live in the United States, and they simply wanted to do something to give back to the local community.
In 2014, then Northern Texas PGA President Paul Earnest wanted to find a way to encourage more NTPGA professionals to fundraise. The Aussies welcomed all with open arms and began to encourage local Northern Texas PGA Members and Associates to dedicate one day to help raise funds for their local community by doing what they do best – playing golf.
Each year, close to 20 local children's charities, along with the Northern Texas PGA Foundation, are the recipients of the fundraising efforts thanks to the generous communities who help donate to the professionals' causes.
The Birdies for Kids fundraiser has raised more than $3 million for the community.
