Buddhist Boot Camp instills resilience in communities facing adversity by providing complimentary workshops and free books to correctional facilities and rehabilitation centers across the globe.

Buddhist Boot Camp started in 2012 as a book by Timber Hawkeye, which quickly became a global inspiration in multiple languages. Since then, Buddhist Boot Camp has partnered with various organizations, such as the Prison Library Project, the Mental Health Association, and the Veteran Health Administration, offering trauma-informed mindfulness coping skills in behavioral health centers, sober living homes, prisons, various 12-step programs, charter schools, universities with interfaith curriculums, churches, yoga studios, and more.

The intention behind all of Timber's books, the Buddhist Boot Camp App, Podcast, and countless speaking engagements around the world, is to awaken, enlighten, enrich, and inspire mentally healthy communities that are socially just, empowering individuals to be at peace with the world, both within and around us.

“Mindfulness doesn’t make other people less irritating, it makes us less irritable.” —Timber Hawkeye.
